Background

A Dutch Telco with a rapidly expanding fiber network was looking into opportunities to leverage its consumer infrastructure footprint to capture value in the business market.

Kepsfield was asked to developed the strategy as well as the translate strategy into a budget supported by management, the operational team and the private equity shareholder.

Our impact

Together with the Client’s team, a commercial strategy was developed which included a new product portfolio, pricing strategy, go-to market strategy and network (roll-out) strategy.

A fiber roll-out scenario model based on big-data analysis was developed. This model enabled the Company to quickly validate the commercial and ROI opportunities per potential target area and run scenario analysis on thousands of geographic areas. Ultimately the discussions on the scenarios led to an operational roll-out strategy and a financial budget.

Finally, we assisted in drafting the strategy report to communicate the strategy to the various stakeholders, including the private equity owners.
