Background

Challenges in the manufacturing sector often require a detailed evaluation of financial and operational strategies. Brought onboard by the private equity owner, our role was clear: assist the newly installed CEO as an interim CFO and conduct an in-depth assessment of the company’s financial and operational health. This involved a close examination of financial performance, production costs, and the cost-to-deliver for each product, aiming to develop a comprehensive strategy for financial and operational improvement.

Our approach was systematic. We started by dissecting the company’s financials and operational metrics, pinpointing inefficiencies, and unearthing avenues for cost savings. Based on these insights, we crafted a strategic plan that catered to both short-term needs and long-term financial aspirations. As part of our CFO-level responsibilities, we also spearheaded the migration to a new accounting system, specifically “Exact”, ensuring a smooth transition and aligning the company’s accounting practices with best-in-class standards. This holistic approach not only addressed immediate challenges but also set the company on a path of enhanced financial performance.
