Beginning with an introduction and a case study, the course unfolds to unravel the foundational concepts of corporate finance. Topics such as financial statements, taxes and cash flow lay the groundwork before delving into more complex subjects like net present value, stocks and bonds valuation, and capital budgeting. The course also ventures into the world of capital and security market lines, and covers strategic financial concepts such as capital structure, dividend policies, and short-term finance planning. Towards the end, the curriculum expands to encompass mergers, acquisitions, options and international aspects of corporate finance.
